Installing pip on Windows 10:
* If the regualar pip command is not working:
1. Open your PowerShell or Command Prompt
2. In the command prompt type: py -m pip
– This should display a list of pip commands:
When I tried to use the regular “pip” command I received an error but I have success using this command in its place.
So if you want to install numpy, scipy, or any other packages in python using the pip installer use the full command “py -m pip install numpy”. I am currently using Windows 10 and I have the latest Python 3.6 environment installed.
